Bob Tandler

Bob, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, received his B.A. (1973) and J.D. (1977) from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

From 1977-1986 Bob practiced law in San Francisco, joined his wife, Valli Benesch’s family business, Fritzi California in 1986, became its co-chief executive officer in 1994, and co-chief executive officer of Fritzi Realty in 1998. Today, Bob and Valli, manage Fritzi Realty and Tehama Partners, LLC. a West Coast-based real estate investment and management family business.

Bob has been active in the San Francisco and Jewish nonprofit communities, including board memberships with San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, SPUR, SF Chamber of Commerce, SF Maritime Museum, SF Historical Society, American Conservatory Theater, Contemporary Jewish Museum, Merola Opera Program, Jewish Community Federation, Jewish Family, and Children’s Services, American Israeli Political Affairs Committee, SF Jewish Community Center, and Night Train Swimmers.

Bob is a fan of opera, modern art, an avid hiker, daily San Francisco Bay swimmer, and triathlete.

Bob and his wife, Valli, have been married for 36 years and have worked together for 34 years. They live in San Francisco and have two daughters, 33 and 31. They are passionate about parenting, San Francisco, Judaism, the outdoors (hiking and open-water swimming), art, theater, ballet, opera, and travel.
