Chief of Staff

Saeed Mirfattah, MA, CPCC is Chief of Staff to the CEO at San Francisco General Hospital Foundation supporting the CEO, BoD and Leadership Team to manage strategic initiatives and operational rhythm of the Foundation, launch and scale new cross-systems initiatives, and support excellence in patient care and innovation at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

Saeed has spent the last 30 years in executive leadership roles with cumulative experience in healthcare, education, philanthropy, and the consulting industry. He has managed corporate work-life programs, and large social impact initiatives to improve the lives of people in marginalized communities. He has a wide range of experience in health, education, fundraising, grant-writing, marketing, communications, branding, strategic planning, executive coaching, board development, program development, visual storytelling, film and photography. He has worked locally, nationally and internationally with small, medium and large sized organizations assisting clients to achieve large scale social change and impact.

Saeed earned his undergraduate degree in Child Development and his Masters degree in Social Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
