Simone Balch is Sonen Capital’s Chief Growth Officer and is responsible for developing and driving the firm’s growth strategies. In addition to overseeing the sales and marketing initiatives and pursuing future market expansion opportunities, Simone serves as a member of the executive team and contributes to the overall direction and strategy of the firm.

Simone brings more than 25 years of investment and private wealth management experience across public and private asset classes. Prior to joining Sonen Capital, she was the Regional Director of business development for private clients and family offices at Cambridge Associates. Simone has also played key roles in expanding markets and growing businesses at Matthews Asia, Diamond Dragon Advisors, Developing World Markets, and Goldman Sachs.

Simone is passionate about helping investors add alpha and align their capital to invest in a world that can be more sustainable, equitable, and just. Outside of work, Simone serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. For thirteen years, she has also served on the board and investment committee of Camphill Soltane Foundation, a non-profit organization that cultivates and strengthens inclusive communities by advocating alongside people with disabilities.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, she has lived and worked on four continents and traveled to more than 50 countries. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin.
