Chief Communications and Social Impact Officer, BMO Financial Group

Kimberley Goode thrives on tackling tough challenges and developing the talent needed to address them. She currently serves as Chief Communications and Social Impact Officer at BMO Financial Group. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of External Affairs for Blue Shield of California, transforming health care to improve access, affordability, and quality for all.

Goode has vast experience in large global companies in multiple industries, including financial services, consumer packaged goods, travel, and technology. She is a powerful storyteller who drives business results through integrated communication, reputation management, brand building, corporate social responsibility, culture, diversity, and inclusion. 

She is actively engaged professionally and in the community with several organizations, including serving on the Board of Governors for the California State University Foundation, the Children Now Leadership Council, and California Women Lead Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council and the Links, Inc and is a mentor for students, emerging leaders, and entrepreneurs. 

A Detroit native, Goode earned her Bachelor of Science in journalism from Northwestern University where she was active with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and led the university’s Blacks in Communication student organization. She and her husband Andre have three children.
