MENTAL HEALTH
Mental and Behavioral Health is a major initiative at Zuckerberg San Francisco General. ZSFG has the city’s only 24/7 psychiatric emergency service and is the best place to go for those experiencing a crisis. There are programs to address substance abuse, lend family support, and provide for the special conditions for those unhoused.
ZSFG has pioneered programs like the Addiction Care Team that addresses the complex needs of those with a substance abuse disorder. The hospital also partners with city programs to better connect patients to needed care once they leave the hospital.
Your donations have allowed the Foundation to create the Transform Mental and Behavioral Health Fund that helps connect programs to better outcomes for our most vulnerable patients.
