For 9 years, Tinesha has provided excellent patient care at ZSFG. Recently stepping into the role of charge nurse, Tinesha is wholeheartedly dedicated to seeing her patients and teammates thrive. From conflict resolution, to bouncing all over the floor ensuring patient and nurse needs are met, Tinesha is the glue of the team.
“I love helping people,” says Tinesha. “Ever since I was in fifth grade and was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I knew this was what I wanted to do.”
Supporting people on their healing journey and playing an instrumental role in helping people get to a place where they can leave the hospital is all very rewarding to Tinesha.
She shares how meaningful the final moments are with her patients before discharge, when they thank her and she can see the true gratitude in their eyes. It makes every hard moment worth it.
