Did you know Building 25 at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center has a rooftop healing garden? Designed as a quiet, reflective sanctuary, the garden was intentionally created for patients, families, and staff to have a space to take a breath and get some fresh air.
Setup like a maze to invite walking, the healing garden is dotted with art including a Heart in San Francisco sculpture, Heart History by Sirron Norris. Visitors can also find poetry nestled in the foliage along the route, a project funded by an Equity and Innovation Grant in 2019.
