In partnership with GLIDE, San Francisco General Hospital Foundation has placed the first Hearts in San Francisco sculpture in the Tenderloin community. This Heart was specially commissioned and presented at the 2025 Hearts in SF gala, in recognition of GLIDE’s unwavering commitment to the health of our community.
GLIDE is on the forefront of addressing our society’s most pressing issues, including poverty, housing and homelessness, and racial and social justice. With a mission to create a radically inclusive, just, and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization, GLIDE is dedicated to empowering every San Franciscan.
“With Jaz Cameron's 'Fractured Harmony' now standing outside of GLIDE, our two organizations cement our shared mission to care for San Franciscans, whether through healing meals and supportive services at GLIDE or life-saving care at our city's only public hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.” Kim Meredith, CEO of the Foundation
Capturing the imagination of the city and beyond, “Fractured Harmony” is the newest addition to the Foundation’s goal to bring more Hearts to where San Franciscans live, work, and play. Kim Meredith, SFGH Foundation CEO, and Robert Turley, the Foundation’s Board Secretary, joined supervisor Bilal Mahmood and GLIDE President and CEO Dr. Gina Fromer for the special unveiling of this meaningful Heart.
