Hearts in SF 2025 was, at its core, a celebration of health equity. From words of hope from city leaders to messages of compassion from health care heroes, it was clear that we are all working towards a more vibrant future for all.
This message rang especially true this year, with a surprise announcement by Hydra Mendoza, VP, Chief of Strategic Relationships, Office of the Chairman and CEO at Salesforce. On behalf of Marc Benioff and Salesforce, Hydra joined Foundation CEO Kim Meredith on stage to announce a $1.66mil gift to ZSFG, allowing the Comprehensive Breast Care Center to secure a brand new Mammovan. The Mammovan is a mobile mammography clinic that brings breast cancer screenings to community centers and clinics in our most under-resourced neighborhoods.

When organizations commit themselves fully to those they serve, success can be measured more fully,” said Mendoza.
“The ZSFG Mammovan serves historically underserved patients who disproportionally experience breast cancer. By breaking down barriers to accessing these life-saving screening, Salesforce is proud to help residents in our city screen for breast cancer sooner, safer, and in the communities where they live and work.
With this unprecedented investment, Salesforce will ensure the Mammovan remains available to patients throughout the city, saving countless lives.
