As the first Baby-Friendly Certified hospital in San Francisco, ZSFG helps all babies get a healthy start through a partnership with Mother’s Milk Bank.

In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, ZSFG hosted its first Milk Drive in over 30 years in August. The dedicated staff of the Labor and Delivery team collected more than 1,500 ounces (and counting) of human milk to be donated to babies and families in the Bay Area and across the country.

Donations support infants who are premature, separated from their birth parents, or have specific health needs, ensuring they receive essential nutrition for healthy growth and development.
