Bank of America + SFGH Foundation
Bank of America strives to connect individuals, families and businesses to resources that build strong communities. For over 20 years, Bank of America has partnered with the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation to support our city’s public hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG).
On August 28, 1872, the City of San Francisco opened the doors to the City and County Hospital at 23rd and Potrero Streets, making an investment in public health that would withstand plagues and earthquakes, population booms and great inventions. 150 years later, ZSFG still stands, keeping the heart of this city beating strong.
That is why Bank of America is proud to support the Foundation this year in honor of 150 years of health equity, access, and quality health care for all in our community. Learn more about our shared history of building a healthier San Francisco at www.zsfg150.org.
Four Hills, Four Towers, One Coyote
In the Spring of 2022, Bank of America commissioned a very special heart for the new employee Work Café. Todd Berman, known online as theartdontstop, created a Heart that was a true love story to the beautiful city that surrounds us all.
Bank of America graciously hosted artist Todd Berman, Board Member Simone Balch, and Foundation CEO Kim Meredith to the newly opened space for the big reveal. Thanks to Gioia McCarthy and Liz Minick for such a vibrant celebration.
A History of Hearts
In honor of this commitment to health equity year-over-year, the Foundation has gifted Bank of America with a heart-felt symbol – Hearts in San Francisco!
Beyond the beautiful new piece by Todd Berman in our employee Work Café, Bank of America is proud to show our heart throughout this building, and the city at large.
