The San Francisco General Hospital Foundation is dedicated to advancing innovation and enabling more equitable health care at our city’s public hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
Since its inception in 2004, the Foundation has awarded over $13 million in Hearts Grants to over 550 hospital programs, incubating new initiatives and providing compassionate care to patients who need it most.
With the support of our local community– both individual donors and corporations–the Foundation ensures that all patients have access to the best care. This commitment has never been more apparent than when awarding the 27 innovative programs this year.
Because of your support, these equity and innovation projects are receiving the funding they need to become the future of how we care for patients at ZSFG.
