Congratulations to the 2016 Hearts Grants Recipients

Through the Hearts Grants Program, the Foundation provides seed money for innovative hospital projects and initiatives that might otherwise go unfunded at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG). Since 2004, with support from the Foundation’s Annual Fund and Heroes & Hearts Luncheon, the Hearts Grants Program has funded more than 400 grants totaling more than $10 million. Tony Bennett Celebration Benefits Emergency Pediatric Care

The City of San Francisco honored singer, painter, and civic leader Tony Bennett by celebrating his 90th birthday on August 19 and 20. City leaders proudly unveiled an eight-foot statue of Tony in front of the Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill on Friday, August 19, and that evening the San Francisco Giants hosted a special “Tony Bennett Night” at AT&T Park. Call for Artists | Accepting Application Submissions for the 2017 ‘Hearts in San Francisco’ Public Art Series

The Foundation has opened submissions to San Francisco Bay Area artists for the annual ‘Hearts in San Francisco’ project and public art series. For the 2017 series, the Foundation welcomes design submissions by up-and-coming and established local artists, as well as acclaimed artists whose artwork is featured in the new Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Design renderings may be submitted online at SFGHF.org/CreateAHeart by the Monday, August 1, 2016 deadline.
