Heroes & Hearts

Heroes & Hearts began in 2006. A seated luncheon fundraiser, Heroes & Hearts brings the community together to:

  • Celebrate the essential role Zuckerberg San Francisco General plays in our City and its community impact
  • Continue the Hearts in San Francisco project
  • Honor local heroes whose actions improve our community
  • Raise funds to support the Foundation’s mission

For the first six years, Heroes & Hearts took place under a tent at Union Square. As the popularity of the luncheon continued to grow, the fundraiser moved to a tent on the field at AT&T Park. Taking place each February, Heroes & Hearts sells out with 1,000 guests. The fundraiser is the Foundation’s largest source of unrestricted revenue. Proceeds from the luncheon are used to fund the Hearts Grants Program. These grants are awarded to innovative programs and initiatives at Zuckerberg San Francisco General that will result in improved patient care and have the potential to develop sustainable funding.  View the most recent list of 2016 Hearts Grants Recipients.

Sponsorship levels start at $7,500 and individual tickets are $300.
